Now in private beta for live venues

Every act’s cues, in running order, before doors.

2Booth gives each show one link. Acts send their music, video, images and documents from their phone, with a note for every cue. The booth gets a cached cue list with GO on the space bar.

Free during the beta. Acts never need an account or an app.

The 2Booth booth view: eight cues in running order, each with the act's name, note, length, cache status and loudness adjustment. Cue 2 is playing, cue 3 is on standby, with a large GO button, Fade out and Stop all on the right, and a Documents panel with a run sheet and lighting notes.

Replaces the inbox, the group chat, the thumb drive and the “is this the right version?” at 7:55.

  • One place for every act’s files, notes and running order
  • No wrong versions: acts swap their own files right up to curtain
  • No surprises in level: every file measured before doors

How it works

From booking to blackout in three steps.

  1. 1

Create a show, share one link

Create a show from the venue dashboard and send acts its link, or print the QR code for the green room. Add a PIN if you want to keep it to the cast.

  2. 2

Acts send everything from their phone

Tracks, video, images, plus scripts, run sheets and lighting notes. Each cue can have a note (“start on blackout”, “fade on the bows”) and acts drag their cues into order. Files up to 5 GB, sent in parts so a Wi-Fi hiccup only resends one part.

  3. 3

Run it on a laptop from the booth

Open the Booth View on the show laptop. New submissions appear on their own. Audio caches locally, every file is measured for loudness, and the whole show runs from the keyboard.

The act's page on a phone: the show name, their act name, buttons to upload files or documents, and their cues in running order, each with a note for the booth.
What acts see: no account, no app. Just the show link.

The Booth View

Built for the person on the GO button.

Everything you need mid-show is one key away, and nothing pops up while a cue is running.

GO, fade, stop

Space is GO, F fades out, Esc stops everything. Arrow keys move standby. GO can fade out whatever is still playing before the next cue lands.

Cached before doors

Audio downloads to the booth laptop ahead of the show, so playback doesn’t depend on venue Wi-Fi. A status light tells you when every file is ready.

Loudness matching

Each file is measured (EBU R128 integrated loudness) and brought to a target level, −14 LUFS by default, with a limiter on the output. A per-cue trim sits on top.

Screen window

Images and video go to a separate window you drag onto the TV or projector. Video sound plays out of the laptop like everything else, so it reaches the mixer.

Documents panel

Run sheets, scripts, lighting plots and slide decks from acts sit beside the cue list, ready to open, without cluttering the running order.

Live to the last minute

When an act sends a new file or changes a note, it shows up in the booth view on its own. No refreshing, no chasing the latest email.

Cue editor

Trim it in rehearsal, not in panic.

  • Set start and end points on the waveform
  • Fade in and fade out inside those points
  • Preview from any spot, then Start here / End here
  • See measured loudness and peak, and the adjustment applied
  • Move the trim while a cue plays to set it by ear
The cue editor for the opening number: a green waveform with start and end handles at 0:02.4 and 2:38.0, a 4-second fade out, preview buttons, and a level section reading measured −15.0 LUFS, peak −0.3 dBFS, auto +1.0 dB to reach −14 LUFS.
The venue dashboard: a form to create a new show, a list of upcoming shows with cue counts and buttons to open the booth view, share the link or QR code, and archive, and the venue's team.

For the whole venue

One account for the venue. Every show in one list.

  • Venue accounts with Owner and Operator roles, so the house tech, the TD and the guest operator all work from the same shows
  • Sign in by email link. No passwords to share in the booth
  • Acts stay account-free, with an optional PIN per show
  • Archive past shows and keep the dashboard to what’s coming up

FAQ

Questions from the booth.

Do acts need to install anything or make an account?

No. They open the show link or scan the QR code, type their act name and upload. If the show has a PIN, they enter it once.

What happens if the venue Wi-Fi drops mid-show?

Audio is downloaded to the booth laptop before the show and plays from there. The booth view shows when every file is cached and measured, so you know before doors.

Will it replace our existing playback software?

For many cabarets and variety nights, yes: it collects the media and runs the show. If you already run a dedicated cue system, 2Booth still handles the part that system doesn’t: getting every act’s files, notes and order to the booth.

Who handles music licensing?

Public performance licensing stays with the venue, the same as when acts bring a thumb drive. 2Booth moves and plays the files you already have the right to use.

Who can see the files acts send?

Only your venue’s signed-in team. Acts see their own cues, not other acts’. Archiving a show closes its link.

What will it cost after the beta?

The beta is free. Beta venues will hear about pricing before anything changes, with time to decide.
